Story

The actors are well chosen and strong

In The Day of the Jackal (1973), the Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an earlier model. Graham Norton and guests: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024). A strong script, full of suspense and good storytelling.

It’s fascinating to watch and enjoyable

Eddie Redmayne was cool, calculating and intelligent. Even though he’s the supposed villain, the audience can’t help but root for him in this cat-and-mouse tale. The only exception was Lashana Lynch, who has no acting skills, emotions or facial expressions.

His manner was actually annoying

How they were selected, I don’t know! I think it ticks more of the British box for diversity. It’s a shame because a strong female lead could have moved this around the world.
