A Norwegian family on holiday in La Palma is thrown into chaos when a researcher discovers signs of an impending volcanic eruption that could trigger a massive tsunami. The geographic coordinates shown are the exact location on Tenerife that is shown as a "safe place" from the tsunami. 28.218998 -16.414642. Apart from some silly moves by annoying characters (we all know who they are), I enjoyed this series. It was well put together and intense, especially the last two episodes. But one question bothered me towards the end of the series, so much so that it prompted me to write this review. Assuming you can protect yourself from gases and lava, wouldn’t it be safer to stay in La Palma? The tsunami was moving in the other direction, away from the island (unlike the 2004 tsunami, which started in the middle of the sea and hit the shore), so you would think that the high ground on the other side of the landslide would provide you with protection.
